Arived in Bangkok at 7:30am. We went to Jim Thompson house. He is the person who revived the Thai Silk Weaving tradition. He disappeared in the Jungle never to be seen again. Hope we do better! The food is great. Better than an Thai Restaurant in LA. The city is very congested, bad polution, traffic is terrible. We leave tomorrow for nothern Thailand and the city of Chiang Mei.
